I think this is the best analogy i've ever heard for a band.
I most certainly agree !

Sink or Swim is the best punk album since Reinventing Axl Rose. That's really all I have to say. Oh, and they have a new album coming out. It's actually already leaked if your a downloader.
How do you compare the two albums? Gaslight Anthem is not really even punk.

And, Against Me! and GA or two of my favorites. Tom Gabel on RAR, offered his first demonstration of how he is one of the best lyricists ever. I love the album, but, I really enjoyed it when he stopped screaming incoherently. He has a fantastic voice. Someday, everyone will see how much damage those 'white crosses' have caused.

Brian Fallon is an excellent writer. But, sink or swim and 59 Sound are great, but, not punk. They should be titled, 'the Boss in 79'. A hyped up Bruce Almighty maybe, but, not punk.

And Against Me!. They demonstrated how 'folk punk' was meant to sound.

What do you think of the Cobra Skulls? Because, no one ever compares them to Against Me!, and, I do not understand how no one can hear?

If the Clash were around today, who would call them punk? Or, the Ramones?

Black Flag, yes. Now, did Henry Rollins sell out? In every way he could.

just my 2 cents.
Your 2 cents said a mouthful. That is exactly what Brian Fallon is. But, if you've ever seen Bruce in concert. You know how hyped up he really was.
You got your money's worth when the E Street Band put on three hours worth of great music for 25 dollars at most.

And Bruce, and Tom Petty are the two I hear in GA. They are actually pretty unique. And, not one bit punk.

What did you guys make of American Slang?
The track itself was in my top 20 of last year, is the album something I should download?
