after some thought....the post that was here was pretty damn stupid and out of the heat of the moment...so i will replace with a quote from anti-flag:

droogpirate, there are just as many hostile people here and on any other forum. i think everyone believes in free speech, but if you are not rational nor logical than you can expect people to be hostile. im not saying that you were, but sh*t happens.
either way, i dont think you should waste yer time trying to piss those guys off. forget about them and move on. theres occassionally some good topics here, and most of the purely argumentative idiots get banned quickly (with exception of me, im still wondering how im still here)

ok...i wrote over the original post, after re-reading it, i seemed kinda ****ing whiny (nothing worse than sounding like a little bitch) and **** like that...and after all, pissing people off to their face is the only way of getting any actual pleasure out of it...also the only way of getting a fight out of it. but i still think the atrophy of the 1st amendment is worth talking about...don't know if you know, but in about 2 or 3 states, it is illegal to curse in public....how the hell did they get the leverage to pass that law.....also, (even though he could be in fault somehow) someone i know went to jail for cursing at a cop...it seems drastic to me...he was doing nothing illegal beforehand and it is not like he punched him or anything.

^ our system has a thing called "fighting words" and that exempts the first amendent, in other words, you cant just go up to someone and say "f*ck you" and say its freedom of speech. i guess it can be a technicality in some ways, but whats there is there.
but yah people shouldnt be taken to jail for stupid sh*t like that. our justice system makes no sense. why not send someone like that to anger management or give him a ticket.

yeah...there are fighting words....that is why i don't use ethnic slurs, or make fun of a huge mf'er. and when it comes to cops...i think that they have way too much power. maybe not all are currupt (but no doubt that some are) and they could do a lot with the their power to put someone in jail overnight without that person doing anything wrong...as long as the cop was "suspicious"

I got pulled over last year for suspicion. He ended up searching my car andwhen he couldnt find anything I got a $170 fine for driving at night with sun glasses on. I fought the ticket and won pretty easily but the cop was still a prick.
