Speaking of Defiance.
People interested in Folk Punk should just check out Plan-It-X records.
Lately i've been addicted to Paul Baribeau, good stuff

I've been really into folk punk lately, I'm also addicted to Paul Baribeau, he just has that quality it's really fascinating, him and This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb, Defiance, Ohio, Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains/Wingnut Dishwashers Union, Matty Pop Chart, Ghost Mice, Nana Grizol, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Rosa. Pretty typical stuff actually, but still all great.

I also just downloaded and am listening to Spoonboy, also very good. This genre never disappoints

I need to try This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb and Andrew Jackson Jihad, especially considering Defiance, Ohio got over 100 plays last week on my last.fm...

I never even realised Folk Punk was a legitimate genre. Never knew you could combine the two..

Suffice to say I've never heard any Folk Punk. Am I missing out?

The Great Depression is the album that got me into the genre, and now I'm addicted. It's certainly not a problem though!

I have tried that one a few times but it seems a little too mellow. It's Share What Ya Got all the way for me!

Well I should check that one out then, I'm sure I'd like it. For AJJ check out People That Eat People Are the Luckiest People in the world to start, and for This Bike is A Pipe Bomb try Three Way Tie For Fifth first.
