I like FATA, some Story Of The Year, alexisonfire, and the only good Senses Fail song is "Bloody Romance".

Not a fan of the rest of them but its cool your listening to all types of music. Do you like Aesop Rock, Dead Prez, Jurrasic 5? Or that gangsta stuff.

Your list is nothing I'd listen to but when I look back at some of my first rock and indie bands some of them weren't that great either. I did listen to a bit of Jimmy Eat World back in the day actually. But its the fact that they get you into music thats important. Just sample as much as you can, there's so much better stuff out there. Allmusic.com is good for looking up bands you like to see what similar artists there are, they also put them into genres but don't worry too much about what genre you are listening to, that doesn't really matter. Maybe try and listen to some great stuff almost everyone agrees is good, for example The Velvet Underground, Led Zepplin, Nirvana, Joy Division - its likely you'll see something there you like, and you'll soon find more bands who are influenced by them and therefore have a similar style to what you like.

I never said you were , you said what do people think about the list of bands you gave. That`s the impression I get when people list those sorts of bands.
