Pussy Galore are definitely my favourites of those three.

James Chance is pretty good too, Buy is a sweet album.

I've never listened to the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, what's their best album?

I've listened to two albums by Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - Now I Got Worry and Acme. That was before I got into Pussy Galore. But they never grabbed me the way Pussy Galore immediately did.

I really can't choose between James Chance and Pussy Galore. I like them both equally. But from no wave scene, I like Mars and Theoretical Girls even more.

Which begs the question to the OP - why did you choose James Chance to compare to Pussy Galore and Jon Spencer?

Well they all have some common ground grit. You just have to look for it. A good example of this is are the following songs.
