I am not into punk music. Most of it seems too much like "noise" to my ears. And I do not sympathize at all with the mostly nihilistic/anarchistic philosophy of many punk bands.

But I like The Queers, The Punkles and The Ramones. Lots of energy and good melodies in many of their songs (Well, as far as The Punkles are concerned, that figures. The Punkles spent all their time covering The Beatles!).

I always get somewhat confused when I hear the words 'punk' and 'music' in the same context.

Equally confusing is to note how many humanoids are trapped in the 'punk' bubble. This garbage genre went years ago thank goodness.

If Ramones first five albums are not music, then I'll happily go on listening to them cos they are better than everything that is called music (expect The Beatles, but still...)

Engine eh?

How did you find the inellect to show a photograph of the greatest Briton of the last 200 years?

Was it on the cover of an album by 'The Boys'?

When it comes to music, I doubt if any 'punk' geek would know the difference between the sound of a dish washer on heat or barbara streisand.

This is a thread in the music forums for suggesting punk music to people. Posting off-topic material isn't allowed, I understand you find your trolling cute and it's probably the only reason you have to get up in the morning but take it else where. It's not wanted.

If you don't like punk, that okay. But you don't have to say it here. I don't, for example care that much about rap or art rock, but if someone likes, it is all right for me. I'm not going to write statements like 'rap music is melodyless crap' (just an example, no offence, and I'm not actually thinking so) on the rap recommendation thread. Everyone likes what he likes and there should not be nothing wrong with it, right?

And also I'd like to add that I'm not really into punk music expect some bands so I'm not really hardcore punk lover or anything.
