Alot of punk bands make it mainstream it doesn't mean anything it doesn't automatically change their genre or anything it just makes them popular.

Punctuation is awesome. Gwen never was "punk" to begin with. And I don't know; singing with Lil Kim and spelling out the word banana in a song, whilst pretending to rap is about as far from punk as you can get. Nothing against hip hop or anything. Because God knows that the abortion that Gwen Stefani calls music now isn't even close to hip hop.

I totally agree with you, she is far from punk. But I was commenting on the use of the word mainstream it annoys the sh1t of of me.
