Default Siouxsie & The Banshees

Anyone listen to this band? They're probably one of the strongest bands in the punk sphere, their discography is consistently good up until their last album. Their Lyrics and vocals are immaculate, with some of the best instrumental support to be found in punk.

"None of the bands today are as good as Siouxsie and the Banshees at full pelt" - Morrissey

Despite being a big fan of their debut 'Scream' for one reason or another, I have barely heard any other albums by them.

I really should sort that out.

Definitely my favourite from Scream:

And this band didn't have a thread before...
I also love The Scream the best, but I like Join Hands and Juju, too. 'Jigsaw Feeling' from Scream is probably my favorite punk/post-punk song, so addictive.

it's kind of hard for me to sit and say "this album" is their best....i love all the direction they went....but my favorite song is defiantly The Staircase (Mystery)

i also think they nailed their cover of The Passenger.....it a thousand time better than Iggy Pop's...

*need to re-watch The Prisoner

I like but I always found them quite cheesy for some reason.

I was a huge fan of them when I was growing up. I hardly ever listen to them any more but they still have a special place in my heart.

Siouxsie Sioux was great. In the heydey, I was at one of the three nights at the Royal Albert Hall where Nocturne was recorded, that was one excellent set too from the Stravinsky opening straight into Israel. And I still play Painted Bird and Pulled To Bits to this day from that album!

They're such a great band, this deserves to be bumped.
