any body a fan choking victim? i've been really getting into them lately. my favorite song that i've heard is 500 Channels. i want to know what the best CD by them would be.

i apoligize in advance if there was already a thread about them. i'm just checking out this site and haven't really looked through all the topics.

Yeah, they're awesome. No Gods/No Managers is good, but you should check out their other stuff too.

It’s a toss-up which one of these statements expresses more ignorance.

Choking Victim and Leftover Crack were the darlings of every ska crust punk wannabe who missed the boat. It’s almost impossible to find music more formulaic and generic or overrated by horribly ignorant fans.

I like a lot of formulaic and generic music. You don’t have to look past my love affair with ambient to find the proof.

But...I do not pretend music is revolutionary when it’s not.

You like these bands then cool but they are what they are.

What's ignorant is expecting someone to have heard a relatively obscure band, but since you're talking **** about them, chances are they're at least decent and I should check 'em out.

I like these bands. I don't think they're revolutionary, but I do think the way the combine genres is fairly unique. If you know of other, similar bands, I'd be curious to hear them, especially if they're better.

You already know them: MDC, Operation Ivy, Reagan Youth, Subhumans

While I can certainly hear the influence of those bands on Leftover Crack and Choking Victim, I feel like the scope of what LC and CV were doing was much broader than all of them.
