I got this. Some recs for y'alkl are Dead Remedy, Dead Like Wolves, Milk Duct Tape, Concreaturees, Paradox, Late Bloomer, Animal Holograms.

This album isn't exactly "new" since it was released in 2012; however, it's some of the best new wave grunge I've heard. The whole album is a damn good listen, from start to finish... Damn good.

Edit: Same vein as Superheaven, I like Basement more though.



Grunge is certainly alive and well, but more and more it's crossing over with other genres.

Nothing could be considered grunge, but they're also arguably shoegaze.


Diarrhea Planet (arguably a pop-punk band)


Donovan Wolfington (also more on the pop-punk side)


It's actually a pretty cool time for punk/grunge right now.
