You're missing the point.

The point is: Buzz is saying he dislikes Skrewdriver for their hateful lyrics, which the band genuinelly believes. SODs lyrics are hateful as well, but because he percieves them as having some sort of troll motive, it's ok. So, what differentiates the two bands, according to Buzz, is biographical content, not lyrical content.

Such a viewpoint, however, creates problems - such as, what if a musician holds racist views, but the music isn't racist? How do you deal with historical music that is racist?

There is a place for biography when judging art. However, when biography trumps content, criticism both becomes relativistic and less informative.

I like your depth of analysis but surely it's not logical to compare and relate biography to content so much that the core meaning of any song lyrics are defined by content. Actually, I expect you to understand this better than most, hip hop bunny.

Surely you see the basic difference between lyrical content and an artist's biography.
Maybe JS Bach was personally enormously racist. That would make sense historically. Does it affect the listener's reaction to his music? No, not a bit.
But what if his music included racist words? Would it change the living public's perception of him? Of course it would. Anti-racists would boycott him and vilify him unless it was an obvious joke.
Even I would to some extent and I love Bach (shit, I even like Skrewdriver musically).

Biography certainly has it's place in the historiography of music. And the public's PERCEPTION of the music (which I know you are not stupid enough to give much credence) matters, but only slightly.

You can only judge a piece of music / art by what you're given from the artist. It's obvious that SOD gave us a joke while Skrewdriver expressed a distinct, serious political philosophy. Both of these facts are informative. Unless you're a young child, I expect you to recognize this.

You started a thread about "Skrewdriver's Bold Vision". Artistic vision is directly related to the intent of the artist, and thus intent is a logical thing to talk about when discussing vision. Skrewdriver's intent is different from M.O.D.'s and so it is entirely reasonable to treat the two bands differently when discussing their "bold vision".

Stormtroopers of Death are a pretty well known band. One of my good friends listens to them. He's Asian.

You seem incredibly offended by the lyrics. They've done their job apparently.
