Website RICH KIDS ON LSD (check their RKL radio out. Plays their entire discography if you wanna here them)

RKL was a hardcore punk band formed in 1982 in Montecito, California.
They were associated with the "Nardcore" scene that evolved out of nearby Oxnard and also are considered one of the first skate punk bands around.
They were very popular in Europe and also with skaters during the eighties and nineties.
IMO one of the best punk bands ever. Great musicians and also great energy live.

WOW no love for one of the better punk rock acts in history. Not only were they raw and aggressive but they had a great technical aspect to their playing. Probably somewhere above Agression and below Dr Know in my nardcore files. Love this band, keep laughing and rock n roll nightmare are on heavy rotation at my house.

RKL was indeed a great band and captured the "nardcore" sound perfectly....but personally i'd take Dr Know any day of the week
