I just like that they are one of those bands that suck, but admit it. They are like to Punk Rock what Clinton was to politics... someone who comes out and just says "I am full of shit, but you will love me for it, because I make up for it with a certain down to earth charm"

Yeah, they are not the greatest band in history, but they are humble about it. Even Fat Mike admits not to buy most of their records (love the write ups on the fat wreck page).

I love NOFX, I always will. They suck, but they suck well and are a blast to see live.

i was once what i think one would call a pretty big NOFX fan.....but in all honesty these days i would only consider Ribbed and White Trash, Two Heebs, and A Bean to be even listenable


i saw them back on the Soul Doubt tour and yes they were a blast live

Listened to new NOFX album today, speaking of..

I like it. Probably their best since "Pump Up the Valium".

But yeah, in all seriousness... I love NOFX, but I do not think any of their albums are consistent enough to be ranked as best punk album ever.

Yea interpretation of "72 Virgins" threw me off. I've never came across that learning about the Qur'an so obviously it was an alternative prospect. Then again a lot of the interpretations were towards male desires...
