Matt Freeman (bass, album, cover)

I have just discovered, much to my horror, that Matt Freeman, bassist for Rancid/Transplants has got lung cancer. Apparently they have caught it early and he is being treated right away.

yeh bad news.....but since when has the transplants have a bassist?

Yeah I heard about this a few days ago, it SUCKS. Matt's a great bass player, and I loved the vocal contributions to the last half of the 2nd Rancid s/t and on Let's Go.
I'm sure most you guys already know that there's a new Transplants album coming out in June {i dunno the date, check their website if you care}.
