Your ears are just wrong then cause this is bar none the most energetic rock song ever made. Bands playing two, three times as fast don't have as much energy as The Stooges had in their pinkies.

Hating the Ramones and The Sex Pistols I can understand even though I don't agree with it, but hating The Stooges? That's just wrong.

Judging someone's taste due to liking or disliking one or a few bands is dumb. It's about the big picture.
For example I'd even say that elph has a somewhat ****ty taste even though I love a lot of the stuff he likes. But I just can't approve of someone's taste being so narrow and being all about some cringy teenage punk identity one desperately tries to cultivate.

Ramones are a great pop guitar band but the Stooges are in another stratosphere. The first album alone puts them among the all time greats.
