Genre is an opinion.
I can say i think "so and so" are metal. You can dissagree. and i can go on and on about it. and think im right therefore them being metal to me. Everything can pretty much be an opinion. But opinions can be wrong.

Um...green day reffered to american idiot as a "punk rock opera"....i refuse to call that album punk..its not even pop punk.
