You posted earlier you've never been to a show this explains alot. There is an energy when listening to hardcore music that cannot be contained and it spawned mosh pits. If you are worried about getting hurt then you might be better off staying home. Most mosh pits are front row and center so not hearing the music will never be an issue. Go get some battle scars already.

Its just an un-realistic outlook when we're discussing hardcore shows. You can't avoid people bumping into you even at tiny venues. Good luck though, You'll be the one paying for the ticket so you'll definitely have your own expectations.

Scale your way up some sort of platform and watch the mosh pits from above. It still not as fun.
