Local punk bands
hey people..ok dont call me a total idiot if im wrong...but is "The Matches" a local punk california band??? Cause i only heard them from my friend who lives in california...and she said they were loacl..but im not sure??..So yea..let me kno about that hehe!

They used to be called The Locals but other than that they're g@y...and not local.
They suck in my opinion. Just because of that guys stupid eye make-up and stupid green hair. Icky ****ers. |
Alot of the bands listed were local at one point, but once they become known around the states, are they considered local bands?

Local punk bands
My friend and I are starting our own site, the main purpose is to give a spotlight to unsigned/lesserknown bands. I'm doing reviews of unsigned bands for the Punk and Indie genres. I have plenty of Indie but it's been somewhat hard for me to find true punk bands as myspace and purevolume is mainly filled with crappy pop-punk.
So, if you all can give me myspace links to actual unsigned/lesser known punk bands then you would be doing me a huge favor. |

this band is pretty good. recordings are crappy but i've seen them live a few times and I was quite impressed. word has it they are going to be recording with the vocalist from No One Goes Home...so thats gotta be interesting!
since I'm new I can't post the link but the band is called Friday Night Kills and they do have myspace. uggghhh i hate being a newbie OH THE ROTAWAYS!!! lol weird....the band I just mentioned in my post played with them lol thats the show I first saw Friday Night Kills lol it was with the Rot a ways and a band called The Designer Drugs or something like that |
