I'm listening to Entertainment, and like every time I'm struck by how brilliant this song is. That instrumental bit that occurs for the first time at 0:40 for instance. One guitar note and drums and it's minimal but absolutely stunning

Pretty sure it's everyone's first post-punk album besides maybe Unknown Pleasures.

I think this was my first punk-anything song in my early teens. Sometimes a really good riff is all you need.

I was actually pretty late with discovering Entertainment compared to other classics. I'm pretty sure my first post-punk album was indeed Unknown Pleasures, or else it was the first Raincoats album. That's the one that really got me into the genre
