And also there's a glorious honesty in their earliest **** being this dirty biker rock but then the Ramones happened and the same year Lemmy rerecorded a Hawkwind track as a Ramones song and then built his whole career on that and then making a song called "R.A.M.O.N.E.S." while all the other British first wave punk bands were pretending like they'd never heard the Ramones before they'd recorded their own versions of Ramones songs. Lemmy knew full well he owed his career to the Ramones and wasn't afraid to admit it.
