Don't even care that The Misfits are kind of a basic band. Put Danzig in front of them and they are pure barbaric fun.

Yeah The Misfits are defo a top 4 punk band along with The Ramones, The Clash, and Dead Kennedys. They're just the perfect punk band when you need pure testosterone bestiality. They could still get beat out by Buzzcocks for that last Big Four spot depending on my mood though.

I've tried to like the Damned and while they've got mad good songs like "Neat Neat Neat" and "New Rose" and their third album is pretty durn good I'm just not convinced they' re top tier quality. Whereas The Misfits have got both fun and savagery on lock. I mean you can't pretend like "Last Caress" isn't a top 10 punk song.

I mean The Damned's first album is purely just a few great songs backed by filler.
