Even if the band doesn't hear it the people next to me do and they tend to laugh. I simply don't understand the concept of going to a concert just to hear a band play a song that you could easily just play all by yourself. Just have fun and yell **** or whatever.

One of the most disappointing concert experiences I've ever had was at an Iced Earth show, not because the band wasn't good, but because me and another dude decided we'd start a mosh pit all by ourselves and everyone around us aggressively wanted none of it. If you don't want that then fine I guess, but Jesus Christ none of the other people did anything but stand perfectly still. It's a metal show. You're stupid just for being there. You might as well give a brain dead thumbs up for other idiots who want to hurt each other for no good reason.

Even the guy at the merch stand I asked about it said that mosh pits could start depending on the crowd, and obviously our crowd was a bunch of boring mannequin ****s. I was in my early 20s btw just for reference.

I gotta admit, I’ve been at shows where nobody was moshing and thought to myself thank you god for letting this annoying tradition die.

Meh. When it's a metal show with an audience in their 20s and no one wants to mosh either the band is garbage or the audience is garbage. It's restricted to a small circle of people so who is being hurt?

Abled bodied young men aren’t the only people who like to metal out.

Once a pit breaks out in your section it’s operation relocation

I also hate the culture of might makes right

Metal bands should say chicks only first 20ft near the stage

And they should play on the stage not the ****ing floor

Just one more reason the US version of The Clash is superior to the UK version.

There are two versions of The Clash's debut, both with wildly different tracklistings.

Ahhh; of course!!! Import versions Always contain more tracks with the Japanese versions having yet even more bonuses!!! I always look for Import versions.

I'm missing Discogs a lot, too, w/the bootlegs, esp. the higher quality ones by Kiss the Stone and The Godfather Records. Polar Bear and Ultimate Sound being good, as well, and Georgeama Bin Bush. Even no label, so long as soundboard recordings.

Nah the American version was more of a compilation album that chucked a bunch of tracks from the album and replaced them with non-album singles and ****ed with the track order as well. They're damn near two different albums.

UK version

1. Janie Jones
2. Remote Control
3. I'm So Bored With The U.S.A.
4. White Riot
5. Hate & War
6. What's My Name
7. Deny
8. London's Burning
9. Career Opportunities
10. Cheat
11. Protex Blue
12. Police & Thieves
13. 48 Hours
14. Garage Land

US version

1. Clash City Rockers
2. I'm So Bored With The U.S.A.
3. Remote Control
4. What's My Name
5. White Riot (single version)
6. White Man In Hammersmith Palais
7. Burning
8. I Fought The Law
9. Janie Jones
10. Career Opportunities
11. Complete Control
12. Hate & War
13. Police And Thieves
14. Jail Guitar Doors
15. Garage Land
