Check out ISM, they were from the 80s and were a "humor hardcore" band with a very prominent synth.

The huns. their synth tracks are great like "murder in texas" thanks for this btw i like synth punk but not devo. too robotic.

I love synth punk yeah, P-Model, Machine Girl, Atari Teenage Riot, Deli Girls, Fad Gadget, Nice Face, Pop 1280, the Screamers, Sextile, Kas Product, Slugbug, Special Interest, SPK, Street Sects, Suicide, and then **** like darkwave is stuff I really crave these days
