Default The Adverts

70s punk band, so that gives you the sound. Gary Gilmore's Eyes and One Chord Wonders are my favorite songs. Anyone else like them?

I think their album, Crossing The Red Sea With The Adverts is one the best punk albums of the 70's. One Chord Wonders, Bored Teenagers, Gary Gilmore's Eyes, Great British Mistake, Safety In Numbers are great songs.

Been listening to The Adverts a lot lately- revisiting a lot of 70s English punk. This band was fantastic.

I've been doing the same. Lately I cannot stop playing The Clash, The Damned and TSOL.

Also been on a psychobilly kick too, both old and new.

Just by sheer coincidence I was listening to the Adverts yesterday. They're cool but I can't say they're anything particularly special. Gaye Advert was a totally underrated punk hottie though.

Why did you post a picture of this unattractive person? I want to see the hottie.

No, a hot photo of Siouxsie Sioux would be preferable.

I'll tell you whenever I find one, but it's been a bust so far. If I wanted to **** a female version of David Bowie I'd just **** David Bowie.
