I wouldn't call DKM punk, but they do rock. And I wouldn't know what to call them anyway, so maybe punk is okay. It might quack like punk. Awesome band to see live. As is FM. I think for both these bands seeing them in concert is way better than listening to the albums. You need the party atmosphere around you, the loudness, the energy. Somehow the vibe these bands have live, cannot be (or maybe, has not been) caught on album.

Personally I prefer FM over DKM for the reasons already mentioned in this thread (lyrics, easier to listen to).

Do or Die was punk. After that DKM started taking on more Irish influence and they lost the "punk." Still a pretty good band but not a big fan of their more recent stuff.
