Does anyone listen to them? Being Irish i think their the best!

some of their stuff is really good. the rest of it is just ok. not the greatest Oi Oi band out there.

DKM arnt an oi band and never really have been. There also Irish not scotish. Scotish punk is like the real Mckenzies. Anywho DKM is cool. I remember when people liked them then jumped bandwagon to flogging molly and disowned them. Always hunting for the next big thing.....

dkm get old really fast I find, and Blackout is awful. I prefer The Real McKenzies and even they are sporadic at best

Ive just recently gotten into them and theyre getting some rotation on my iTunes here as of late. I think theyre pretty good. "The Warrior's Code" and "Irish Drinking Song" are good.

I like Flogging Molly more. Oh gosh, how I love my Flogging Molly.

ohhhhh eff that. flogging molly is much nicer on the ears. you can actually understand them whereas dropkick murphys sound like theyre trying to sing with a sandwich in their mouth. i still like um and all but not nearly as much as flogging molly. flogging molly pwnz dropkick murphys. end of story.

Dropkick Murphy's have more...I don't want to say punk for fear of sounding "hardercore than thou" but...they sort of combine DOA, Sick Of It All and **** Sparrer with Ireland. Flogging Molly is good, but DKM owns them. Blackout wasn't that great though... Flogging Molly focuses more on the folk/Irish than the punk side of it. Alot like the Pogues. Who own both FM and DKM. Real McKenzies are awesome. Enter The Haggis is good stuff too.

The Warrior's Code was by far one of the worst Dropkick Murphy's album ever. Blackout was the good album. Warrrior's Code was soft and comercialized, while Blackout, although comercialized as well, had a more raw edge to it.

Dropkick Murphy's totally rock...alkline trio B-L-O-W-s!! Jeeze, i dont see how people can like stupid emo crap like that...emo iss just ridiculous...lets scream our heads off then go home and cry bc the world hates me..and slit my wrist...u stupid num****s...get over yourself!!!

In case you are in the modd for a little less punk, check out the young dubliners...they are coming out with a new CD and they do a few irish songs tht DK does too...

I caught the Dubliners back in 2001 and they rocked! Worth a listen.

They are the worst band from boston i have ever.
In ym school theres this kid who is like 15% Irish and he is always like yeah dropkick murphys represent my nation. STFU you are not from ireland, they arn't from ireland they are from boston with irish descent.

they kind of sound like Mighty Mighty Bosstones, but they're not too bad, like a mix of Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Rancid

Drop kick Murphy is perfect drinkin' music for Paddys Day Music. I love the bastard on parade. And they did do a decent cover of the wild rover

sing loud! sing proud! is byfar there best album.... blackout was lacking and warriors code was a bit commercial but i still love em ....

Al Barr is better!!!!! less snotty and more manly!!! (i hope i didn't offend)

Are you kidding? Sing Loud, Sing Proud! BLEW! Except for Rocky Road, For Boston and Forever. Gang's All Here, and there last two are there best.
