36 chambers for me. it was about a year ago my cousin came round with a bag of j5, tribe, biggie,wu tang albums and i was amazed, wu tang brought me back into hip-hop again and enter the 36 chambers is well good. shame on a nigga is my favourite tune, i have 'the W' aswell, but it has nothing on enter the 36 chambers.

It is a high watermark of 90s hip hop, up there with the Low End Theory for me. They havent made anything anywhere near as good since this, which is disappointing, but at least we have such tunes as C.R.E.A.M, Shame On A Nigga, Bring Da Ruckus and Protect Ya Kneck to keep us occupied

True dat. Not to mention Aint Nuttin Ta **** Wit, Clan In Da Front, M-E-T-H-O-D M-A-N and..... **** it the whole albums class! For me Illmatic is the closest thing from the nineties that matches it.

Illmatic is good but not in the same league i think. I think Funcrusher Plus pushes it close, but the Low End Theory i think is maybe a bit better. Either way, its an excellent album.

Default The best decade for hip-hop.

The 90s was hip-hop's era... So much good rap was made. My favorite wow I can't even think. Enter the 36 Chambers was awesome when I first heard it about 9 years ago. But Gangstarr made some ****in' bangin' albums. DJ Premier is a genius and the Guru has great flow. KRS-One's Return of Da Boom Bap was hardcore as anything else. Then if you like the funky beats for a good undergroundish album there's "Nigga Deep" by Brotha Lynch who uses a lot of James Brown and Parliament samples. But there's just so much from the 90s.

Liquid Swords is so much better IMO. I really can't get into this album at all.
