I Dont Know.
I listen to DMX regularly. I think the reason that he isnt around is because he doesnt really want to be.
He isnt one of those attention seeking rappers. He puts out quality material, then he disappears. I dont think we've seen the last of him.

Oh and, alex777, you are a complete f*ck and will be banned soon

He's lost a lot of that spit-fire approach in his recent work. It doesn't matter though. I'm still a huge fan of his first three albums, and I don't think many rappers today can top It's Dark and Hell is Hot. Definitely would be interesting to hear a DMX album, in the post-50 Cent era.

alex777, you are in middle school.

DMX is a ****ing idiot. He is an EXCELLENT rapper, has millions of dollars, and decided one day after getting off a plane "**** taking my limo, i'm gonna pose as an FBI agent and commandeer (steal) a car, and then when I get arrested I'm gonna be sure to have a gun and some crack on me"

He did that exact thing like last year, I've never heard what happened with the court case, but he was charged with some serious ****: impersonation a government agent, gta, controlled substance, illegal firearm, etc.

To bring this thread to a slightly more serious note...

I like DMX, a lot i've realized.

X Gon Giv it 2 ya is my favorite track right now.

Definitely underrated as a pop-rap artist goes, and his delivery is hilarious.

Talk about falling off quick though

And how exactly is he a pop rap artist?

WTF is wrong with you people? Is Mettallica pop-metal?

Is Johnny Cash pop-country?

DMX is the definition of Hardcore/Gangsta rap.

And how did he fall off? He's had 5 number one albums...the only one that didnt go number 1 went number 2. If you dont know what you are talking about then STFU!
