me??? or them?

That kid with the pink writing. I can't be bothered to check his name.

Yes, I don't own any of their albums, BUT I've heard most of their songs from radioblog, and I just happen to like the songs on Speakboxxx/lovebelow the best. And sorry, but that's my opinion. You have yours, and I have mine.

And I'm a girl, thanks a lot.

Oh really, you've heard most of their songs

I totally believe you.
Speakerboxxx/Love Below sucked.

Dark Tragedy 03-26-2006 08:16 PM

That's your opinion. My opinion is it rocks. Like I said, people have different opinions. And sue me for having an opinion different from others.

TrampInaTux 03-26-2006 11:42 PM

I 100% disagree with you saying you have heard most of their songs. My betting is that you have heard 2/3 songs from every album and now think that you have heard them all. And bungalow I wouldn't call Speakerboxxx/Love Below crap, just disappointing. Love Below was still in my CD player after around 2 weeks when I first bought it.

Speakerboxxx/Love Below was directed at the pseudo intellectual crowd who somehow manage to feel smarter by pretending to like records that are "critically acclaimed." It was a major disappointment for those of us who had been fans since the beginning.

Best three Albums…
1. Aquemini
2. ATLiens
3. Southernplayalistic…

The rest are insignificant.

TrampInaTux 03-27-2006 11:31 AM

Stankonia was insignificant? Apart from the fact that it showed a major change of direction for Outkast ye it was TOTALLY insignificant:rolleyes:

Urban Hat€monger ? 03-27-2006 11:33 AM

To be fair it had Ms Jackson on it

I seriously wanted to kill them for that song. Why do you think I ended up going with Aquemini once I remembered it was on Skankonia

It was only significant in that it marked the begining of the end of Outcast as a quality HIP-HOP group. They morphed from a hardcore hip-hop duo to MTV darlings under the guise of "musical creativity." I'll admit that Stankonia had its moments and wasn't quite as disapointing as Speakerboxxx/Love Below, but by in large it fell short of the mark when compared to their earlier work.
