That is what I think-so I'm not allowed to have my opinions now? I put Speakerboxxx/Love Below on there because it is an Outkast album and it would save all those people that would post 'how come Speakerboxxx/Love Below is not on there' their time. I was suprised to see Speakerboxxx/Love Below get the most votes, that's why I commented on it. And I have picked up on other peoples comments because they are the type of people who have heard Hey Ya and have decided that Speakerboxxx/Love Below is the best album based upon that song, and have not heard many if any tracks from the previous albums. You seem to have run out of things to argue about, and now you are just scraping the barrel. I await your probable PM telling me how intelligent you are and how stupid I am.

TheBig3 04-04-2006 02:53 PM

Im sorry I didn't see this earlier. What makes you assume that Hey Ya is the reason their picking SB/LB over any of the others? Just on Andre's side you have:

Happy Valentines Day
Draculas Wedding
Roses
Take off your cool
Love Hater

Which are all valid reasons to pick that disc. You arrogance and ignorance to why someone would pick that disc was apparent before, but now that its no long speculation and is fact, I'd like to ask why you made an assumption that people were picking the CD on the strength of Hey Ya? The idea that people are picking songs because its on the radio is nothing short of pubecent musical snobbery.

Also, I might as well not PM you since the last time I did that you posted it in a public forum, lest we not forget.

Speakerboxxx/Love below dude. Tough question, though.

TrampInaTux 04-06-2006 01:53 PM

I made a snap judgement and guessed that the kid had only heard a few Outkast songs and the ones he heard consisted of what I would deem as 'the new bollocks.' And guess what, I was right. The kid had hardly heard any Outkast songs and had only (I assume) owned Speakerboxxx/Love Below. So if this kid has never heard any of the old albums in their sublime entirety then how can he possibly judge this?
Oh and by the way, about the whole posting your PM on the public forum thing-I won't do that anymore, so feel free to send me one insulting my apparent lack of intelligence for making a judgement that in fact ended up to be true, and of course don't forget to mention that I apparently have no musical intelligence based upon the fact that I recognise Speakerboxxx/Love Below for what it truly is-a disappointing, failed experiment. The album was average, but not up to Outkast standards in any way. As for the songs you mentioned, Love Hater and Dracula's Wedding really shouldn't win a spot on that list over Spread and a day in the life of Benjamin Andre should they?

TheBig3 04-06-2006 05:25 PM

I personally think Dracula's Wedding is an amazing track. Love Hater is give or take, but DW had the outkast irreverence, as well as a nice funk feel to it and was an all around decent track. Come on, its beena while but doesn't he say something about peanut butter and jelly sandwiches? Thats class.

I will now to procede to PM you and undermine your opinon.

Dracula's Wedding did have the Outkast irreverence and many other factors that make them brilliant, but for me the song didn't grab me by the ears like Outkast songs should do. The beat was catchy though, if only for a short while.

the only great album is Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. the other ones are pretty weak, and i like all kinds of rap. atliens only had the Elevators & two dope boyz in a cadillac tracks. aquemini: rosa parks, return of the g & skew it on the bar-b. stankonia: gasoline dreams, so fresh so clean, b.o.b., ms jackson & gangsta ****. speakerboxxx/love below: roses, the way u move & about 3 others on big boi's disk. the album big boi and dre present.... is completely garbage. the whole world and hey ya joints are the wackest they ever made. notice most of the songs i mentioned were videos thats because they know those were the best tracks on their albums, cash money does the same thing.
