Every one of those rappers is a better lyricist than Wayne, but as far as rapping goes, it's not that out there to say he's one of the 10 or so best.

Well, music is subjective, I guess...I don't wanna' go all Kant on the subject...so I'll just say I think most of the hip-hop world likes Wayne's flow, myself included. I don't have him ranked anywhere near the top of my list of favorite rappers, but I'm also not going to miss one of his mixtapes anytime soon.

One Be Lo is the best imo, but I've already covered this the last time this thread was made.
As far as commercial vs inde rap. I listen to both, but I MUCH prefer the inde. Also, the Roots are completely sick, and I wish more hip hop artists would adopt the usage of a live band. You can't beat having an actual drummer. |

American Gangster pretty much cemented Jay-Z's spot at the top (as far as main stream artists go anyways).
|
Locking this thread on grounds of Lil Kim being mentioned along side Wu-Tang, Nas, and Immortal Technique.
|
As well as the mention of RedMan being in the Wu and saying Meth is a joke.
