Jedi Mind Tricks

They are coming out with a new record September 13 2011 named "Violence Begets Violence".

So give me your thoughts on the most talented of the group and some of your favorite songs and what you hope for with the new album.

**edit, thanks for movin my thread, i searched for a jedi thread, but for some reason couldn't find one.

JMT uses great imagery and song and album titles and build an excellent mystic about themselves but their records aren't as good as they're made out to be when you start digging deep.

I've been meaning to check these guys out. I kinda want to get the limited edition vinyl of Violence By Design, do you guys think that's worth picking up for $20?

I think so, at least for collector purposes.

I got into Jedi Mind Trick around 2004 when Legacy of Blood came out, but I didn't think they really hit their stride until the army of the pharaohs side project, with the Torture Papers album.

The Servants In Heaven, Kings In Hell album was really good as well. Check out songs like A Vietnam Story & Shadow Business.

^I just bought it, it was actually around $29. Now the question remains...

Should I open it or keep it sealed?
