Default dead prez

dead prez is so good. kinda immortal technique-ish as far as lyric content goes, vocally i don't really know who to compare it to. its not like its incredibly different or anything, but it is really good stuff. i reccomend the album "revolutionary but gangsta" and specifically the songs Hell Yeah(Pimp the System) and Radio Freq, W4, F*cked Up, 50 in the Clip.

real good, its two different rappers. stic man and M1. I like M1 better personally but stic is still sick on most tracks.

MySpace.com - www.myspace.com/deadprezmusic

that myspace isnt actually run by them and only has 3 songs and stuff, but hip hop is a good song and probably one of their most popular.

anyway, if you like hip hop that isn't the same crap on the radio then listen to this.

EDIT: damn this is lame, those songs are edited. anyway, you still get a good feel. it edited out "im all for runnin up on these crackas in they city hall"

i dont know why that got edited out, but anyway.

I've only heard Police State and They Schools, they were good. Oh and wasn't he on that one song with IT and a few others, Impeach the President? That song is sick.

I have the album LET'S GET FREE, and I love it. I'm not a huge Hip Hop fan, as I have pointed out before, but when an album hits the mark for me, it stays!

i havent listened to dead prez that much, but i really enjoy the music that i have heard. i really like the vibe that gets put out, to me it is how hiphop/rap sounds best... not to pigeon toe the genre in any way however.

edit - i will say that i really cant stand racist black people as much as i cant stand racist white people. it doesn't change the fact that they can make good music however.
