Atmosphere is a duo, Slug and Ant. Slug is on the list.

Miltamec Soundsquinaez 04-29-2008 01:18 PM

Really? huh, I thought they were similar,
although I haven't heard of Ant

Ant does the production, Slug does the rapping.

Ant raps too, but Slug is the main rapper of the two.

Eminem. Aside from the fact I haven't heard of a lot of the people mentioned on the list, I think Eminem is more genuine and has a style that isn't as cheesy as most white rappers are. Plus he seems more clever/creative when it comes to his rhymes.

In comparison to other white rappers I've heard I think he is more creative in his approach. You don't think so? that's ok... we don't have to agree.

Rubber 05-08-2008 03:51 PM

Aesop Rock followed by El-P. Aesop has it, whatever "it" is, and I like it.

NoseClams 05-14-2008 02:07 PM

my vote is for beastie boys!

Nugget 05-19-2008 05:10 AM

Definately me.

blade53243 05-19-2008 06:22 PM

Eminem Is Probably the best white rapper now but the Beastie Boys are Classic///Why Did You Even Put Vanilla Ice On Here... He's A Wigger//Wanna Be Rapper

15Steps 05-21-2008 09:40 PM

Devilish 05-28-2008 03:40 PM

ali kat 06-08-2008 10:21 AM

zsouth 06-15-2008 12:21 AM

eminem blows everyone out of the water

Skinny. 06-15-2008 06:54 AM

For some reason you have Beastie Boys, Eminem and Vanilla Ice (wtf?), even bloody Kid rock, but no JMT, Hilltop Hoods or Necro. I am with holding my vote intil further notice.

Farfisa 06-15-2008 01:08 PM

I'm going with Scoobius Pip...

I know, it must be so hard to just press that other button.

tahluhabelle 06-16-2008 08:45 PM

lol 3rd Bass. I guess nobody likes Serch but me.

All in all Eminem is my generation and he is not only a great white rapper but a great rapper -- period.

2headed*MC 06-22-2008 02:26 PM

IF U THINK EMINEM is the best white MC then go toMister Poll: Eminem and tell me if u think hell be back this year :)

655321 06-24-2008 08:00 PM

Piss Me Off 07-01-2008 11:12 AM

Pip isn't really a rapper, he's a poet.

The Unfan 07-04-2008 01:15 PM

For some reason Snow came to mind.

lucifer_sam 07-04-2008 09:30 PM

I suppose Zach de la Rocha would object to being called white, so I can't REALLY nominate him. But I must say he puts a shiitload of other rappers to shame.

I can't believe The Beastie Boys are getting beaten by Eminem. Faaaaack.

ProggyMan 07-05-2008 11:50 AM

What? La Rocha has such forced rhymes.

nickcavewasawesome 07-07-2008 08:22 PM

DoseOne

ProggyMan 07-07-2008 08:48 PM

Why'd he get banned?

Alfred 07-07-2008 09:01 PM

Plus, Rage is a funk metal/rap metal band, and Zach De La Rocha has like, two solo songs.

Spamming... he mentioned the Bridal Shower 3 times.

Sometimes I wonder what planet you come from...what does that even mean?

Sparky 07-07-2008 09:37 PM

It means when he 'raps' it doesn't sound natural?

Like, he was having a hard time coming up with a word to rhyme, with, for example "government" or something, and it sounds "forced"

Im not too sure either, proggyman is generally pretty vague with his derogatory statements =/

ProggyMan 07-07-2008 10:38 PM

This isn't La Rocka but it's a pretty clear example:
As the cheerless towns pass my window
I can see a washed out moon through the fog
And then a voice inside my head, breaks the analogue
Lol, breaks the analogue.

Seltzer 07-07-2008 10:41 PM

Yes, I dwell in hell, but it's a hell that I can grip
I tried to grip my family
But I slipped

I always laugh when I hear those two lines.

ProggyMan 07-07-2008 10:56 PM

Who staff the party ranks
More for Gore or the son of a drug lord
None of the above **** it cut the cord
Lol.

Especially in the case of Proggy's example I'd argue it's more about the way the words sound when said together. And that part of Guerilla Radio has a great sound.

I've never thought of him as a great lyricist, just a distinct voice with great energy.

ProggyMan 07-08-2008 09:22 PM

I don't like Rage, still I'll agree with that. But the best white rapper?

I always liked those lyrics.

TheaterDreams 07-12-2008 06:56 PM

Everlast gets my vote

Can't stand Eminem. Just seems like he tries to hard
