Raine....how can you say that Dre is one of the best rappers of all time,,,,it is a well know fact that duke doens't even write his own rhymes...how can you be the best when you use a ghostwriters....maybe dre has the best ghostwriters of all time

dre is a great producer, decent rapper.

you have to classify how they are the best... lyrically, influencial, popular.

different artists have different strong points. tupac was not a lyrical genious like big L, aesop rock, gza, rakim, nas, cannibus, Chino XL, Jedi Mind Tricks. These guys are the best at spittin punchline and using metaphors.

tupac on the other hand was a great artist because he talked bout meaningful things which many people appealed to. songs like changes and dear mama made poeple feel, not think.

some rappers are just str8 up popular: eminem (not saying hes not talented) and gunit for instance.
