I can say the same about Del, so let's throw down a sampling of lyrics:

Battlesong from 3030

"Interplanetary adversaries battling for supremacy
Sounds like a good way to build up my infamy
Soon as Automator sent for me
We headed over to receive our registration forms from the galactic embassy
(Yes may I help you)
Remember me
To escape a global panic we had to intercede
(Oh you're here for the battle forms)
Yeah can we get them for free
(I'm afraid not you'll have to pay the entry fee)
It was worth a try when we first arrived on mercury
Gravity adjustment was a must then
Step up contestant
Number 12, I was 13 he started bursting ammunition that wasn't working
His rudimentary technical abilities couldn't kill me
Knocked me for a loop
But I can still breathe
He had the crowd going by appearance
Here comes the anticipated interference from his squad of guards
I bust back with an onslought of Hydrothermal clod that burnt they're third eyes
Out numbered but I come with heat and trigger a massive explosion to the beat
They hit me compressed air
Left my chest bare
My sonic stun gun takes em out by the next snare

We won the bout just as the oxygen tanks were running out
so we're back to the ship
Pull a map from a blip
Manipulate the cursor
Recharge our essentials set the coordinates then flow
Through a trillion miles of space with style embrace
Next stop Pluto to rock these new flows
Atmosphere methane be strategic like a chess game
Leaves this mc with chest pains
I had to battle a shadow in his black life form
He dazzled me adding 3 points to his score
Engulfed my microphone with darkness added 3 more
The panel started to roar
I had to find the core of his power
He stretched his text causing me to black out
It took my DAT out
I couldn't back out
It took out the sound man I'm taking a pounding
I bust out an a capella that's astounding
Project a uni-beam through his spleen
Pulled out my x-ray cannons to disintegrate the phantom
It's non-finite cell structure ruptured
His form will get bust up into clusters
Shadowy masses spread to the greater darkness of outer space
Now I'm placed 1st among artistz

Serve due more space travel
Computer
(Yes deltron)
What have you
Next destination
The colony of Sicilia an earth colony
This is appealing
Hyperspace

With mic in place we was off breathing frost
in a void thinking what if we had lost
Ha
Entertain an ignorant thought
Land Ho, Sicilia we entered the port
Fill out a few forms then we meet our challenger named Quzar
(No matter who you are I'll handle ya)
He's a real charmer
I threw on my pla-steel armor
He wants to absorb the talents that I worked so hard for
A biter hard core
I busted a few shots and opened him like a car door
He was a quadruped, four arms
He hit me with four fore arms made of bronze
I said Automator play the song
(You got it)
Was the theme
Made a slight alteration in my scheme
Set him up with a commission beam with his double team
Leaned toward his dome piece and reamed the back of his neck
With a cranial disruption siphon
Squeezed out his brain like juice
Like a python"

Battlesong is a good choice to show off what Del is capable of. Very creative. For example, the plasteel armor bit at the end there. The whole story of the rap battle tournament from arrival, through 3 different opponents... the more I listen to it, the more vivid the scene is in my head. And there are multis on the rhyme side, everywhere. Everything flows really well. It's mellow. It's smooth.

MF DOOM is cool, very smart, very likable, but I can relate to Del's universe more than DOOMs. He's got a lot to say about New York sometimes. I relate more to Deltron's space adventures than DOOM's New York.

I hear yah man Del's got the gift of MCing that's for sure, he's excellent. DooM has just released more material and has a lot more to offer than Del's work imo.

Not true at all, Del has not only done his own stuff, hes done Deltron, The Gorillaz, and has appeared on RNB acts records and also appeared on many of his crews albums from Heiroglyphics crew. I cant say i dislike Doom either i think hes pretty dope in his own right.

MF Doom has been in 2 rap crews:

KMD
Monstar Island Czars

Has like 4 other alias':

Dangerdoom
Madvillian
King Geedorah
Viktor Vaugn

Has also worked with the Gorrilaz as well.

Both have been around for over 20 years, however, besides deltron, they're really isn't a whole album i can sit through with Del. His flow is always nice, but sometimes his wordplay is lazy, and can never seem to find producers (except for automater) that really take advantage of his voice and delivery.

I am really excited for deltron 2, whenever the **** it decides to come out

I can sit through his solo releases. A lot of people dislike the production Del gets/does on his solo records, but I think its raw. And I don't think he's fallen off...

If you say so. I thought it was one of the best hip hop albums to come out in the entire decade of the 90's. Boo Boo Head, Catch A Bad One, and Worldwide were incredible hip hop songs, with great mixes.
