Yes, I do believe Lil Wayne has quite a bit more to offer than 50 Cent. 50 has the Power of the Dollar, which is decent at best. And though Lil Wayne really is a joke in a lot of ways, when hes actually rapping he can flow. I really enjoy (most of) Tha Carter II, and The Drought is Over pt 2. Though I must say that for every great song Wayne has, he has five terrible ones.

Edit: forgot to mention, he is garbage now though. I bet by the time he releases his next "rap" album its going to be complete mindless dribble (not that Tha Carter III wasnt nearly there already)

Tha Carter 3 wasn't mindless dribble in any form. Plus, get Da Drought 3.

I decided not to, seeing as I listen to plenty of Wayne and make at least decent grades. I also never listen to Classical. Also, I'd think people who listen to Soulja Boy or Lil Boosie make worse scores.

I didnt say the album in total was mindless dribble, but I feel as if its where his flow really began to drop off, and there are some pretty bad songs. But its been a while since Ive listened too, maybe I should again..
I have Da Drought 3, its a good one, I just failed to mention it because its not among my favorites.
This is the wayne I have:
Tha Block is hot
Lights Out
500 Degreez
Tha Carter
Tha Carter II
Tha Carter III
Dedication
Dedication 2
Dedication 3 (this is definitely among his worst)
Da Drought 3
The Drought is Over 2
The Drought is Over 4
The Drought is Over 6
Tha Leak V

A couple of those I have yet to really give a good listen though.

Tha Carter 3 has 2 or 3 bad songs to me, I'd say they're really just mediocre though.

I've got 500 Dagreez, tha Carters, Da Drought 3, and The Drought is Over 2. 500 Dagreez is the only one I haven't really been able to get into, but I'll keep trying it. I'm wanting to get Dedication 2, is it good?

What are your favorites, aside from The Drought is Over 2 and tha Carter 2 (which are also a couple of my favorites)?

Definitely check out Dedication 2, definitely on the upper tier of Lil Wayne material, and among my favorites of his (Dedication 1 is worth checking out too). I think Lights Out is pretty underrated if you're into Lil Wayne's early more cash-money centered stuff. Tha Block is hot and 500 Degreez are kinda throwaway. Tha Carter id put in the upper echelon, but I dont personally think its amazing or anything. Da Drought 3 is definitely on the top tier for me also. I havent really checked out The Drought is Over 6 and 4 yet, but I have a feeling some of it is recycled material. Wayne mixtapes have been appearing on the sites I frequent like fleas around trash.

By the way, dont even touch Dedication 3 with a stick. Unless you want an "Im ****ed up as **** and will only half rap through a vocoder" sort of affair.

But it's got a pretty cool album cover. lawlawlawlawlal

But anyway, I'll have to check out Lights Out, I've been wanting to check out early Wayne for awhile. Tha Carter has some pretty good songs on it, I like Tha Carter 2 better though. I think it has its own distinct sound.
