After watching the DVD, I'm no longer sure if I hold as much respect for him as I previously did.

Just because you read the dictionary does not mean you are a good lyricist. I miss the days of Tupac Shakur back when the words in songs had a message,.

Thing is, I don't think Lil wayne takes himself seriously, so why should anyone else get worked up about his talent or lack thereof? He makes goofy music with silly punchlines.

True,

I find some of his lines catchy and funny, but that's just not good enough.

Overrated.

Not always true. Tha Carter III had some pretty dark moments in it. Since founding Young Money Entertainment he's done nothing for me though.
