He's ridiculously hit and miss, and no I don't give a **** if he releases a couple million songs a year, that's no excuse.

This page suggests my theory is correct. This is the sort of conversation you have when you listen to stupid music.

It's fine to like it, but it is stupid music, for stupid people, it's like rock candy or taffy, sure it's good once in awhile but we all know it's crap except stupid people.

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

Lil Wayne is not crap in the slightest, yes he occasionally releases garbage but Beck's gold to crap ratio isn't much better.

Nice to have you back...for now...and it's crap, in my mind that's not changing. The only parts of commercial or MTV rap I like are the parts they steal from good songs.

Wayne is one of the more talented rappers around on the sheer fact of look how much of a following he has compared to most rappers. It's unbelievable. I have respect for him but obviously the greatest rapper alive is a load though he'll probably be known as that when it's said and done. And just like with any band, there's a rebellion against his more recent work since people LOVE saying "I liked them before they sold out" or whatever. The fact is he consistently has made above average quality rap for quite a while and deserves recognition.

I just hope he lives till hes like Mick Jagger's age so I can see what he looks like

Just because people follow someone doesn't make them talented.

Insane Clown Posse sell's millions of dollars on T-Shirts every year, and the hold a Gathering of The Juggalos every year, which gets thousands of people to all come to a certain place.

They must be talented, too.

Lil Wayne being considered unqiue or good only shows how bad most mainstream hip hop has gotten.

It's true, wayne's sound hasn't evolved much since he started, just the standard for hip hop has.
