Pretty much anthing hop hip/rap, but what stands out to me are the lyrics and being a rapper myself its awsome listening to other hip hop artist that has a story line when rapping " luv the topic"

Great lyrics and flow. I rap myself and since i started rapping i definitely have a different view on music. Yeah, some stuff you sounds good at a party or ill listen to something and be like "that sounds cool." But i dont have the same respect for it that I have for old school stuff. By that I mean guys like Nas... Very creative rhyme schemes, diversity and creativity in the tracks. If a hook n chorus is all you got then you don't got much...

Favorite rappers are Nas whos definetly the greatest of all time in my opinion.. Wu Tang because the great flows and the grimey street lyrics (favorites are Meth and Raekwon). Biggie cause nobody else makes gangsta party songs (other than Pac but I never liked him as much, i like the east coast style more). I also like Big L (awesome quotables and punchlines), and I'll always have respect for Eminem, I just think his talent level is off the charts. Only guy talent wise I think that really can match Nas.

It's not really my opinion that the 90's didn't happen in the 80's.

The rap / hip-hop I prefer is of the abstract variety - I like my rap intelligent, love peculiar time signatures, excellent production, and the like.
