Default The Shape Of Broad Minds

I just got The Craft of the Lost Art by The Shape of Broad Minds. I stumbled across this kind of randomly but despite the awkward band name this album is really, really good. Psychedelic, jazzy, experimental, fun, this album seems to be everything at once and it works really well. I'm not even sure who I'd compare them to. The closest thing I can think of would probably be Madvillain (and MF Doom even guests on one of the songs) but that's still not very close, these guys are much more spacy for one thing. Anyway, I was really impressed and thought I'd share.

Anyone else heard this album? And if so what do you think?

I'd be very interested in hearing the whole album if you wouldn't mind.

i known about this album since like june, and it's still on rotation. the song with DOOM on it is strangely not my favorite, but tracks like Budda Fly Away, Changes, They Don't Know, and Viberian Sun make this a remarkable album.

jneiro is golden, i love everything he's ever done.

It's a really great album all the way through. And that song "It Ain't Dead" makes me laugh. Considering that I used to live in Philly it's kind of cool to hear him name dropping Zanzibar Blue.

Yeah it's a great album. Well worth your while.

It's funny to see this thread bumped after all these years.
