What is your take? Personally I am a fan of the Notorious B.I.G so... it's pretty obvious where my loyalties lie ;)

From the east coast originally but I swear that's not why I voted east coast. There's just way more good hip-hop from the east, not to mention the fact that it started there.

^Exactly. East coast is where it all began, West Coast can be fine but I think the West can be a bit unthankful to where it all started.

The styles have become so blended that there really isn't much to differentiate them apart anymore.

That's true. But if you were to ask me to make a list of all my favorite hip-hop groups and rappers of all time, I bet about 75% would be from the east coast.
