Default When did you start losing interest in Hip Hop and start listening to other genres?

I'm asking this question in light of Lil Wayne recently saying he's bored with hip hop and is now leaning toward rock. I'd have to say for me personally the beginning of the end started with Nelly and that E.I mess, he sorta gave birth to lyrical lunacy. And before anybody brings him up I know Greg Nice never made much sense, but at least Smooth B was standing right beside him, with some what more sane lyrics.

He is'nt going to make it in the rock industry... He wants to TOP all industries, but in all reality he will never have as much success as the rolling stones.

Is this thread serious?

Also, Ice-T is the only one that trancsends the two genres well.

I know I'm gonna regret saying that as soon as someone points out someone I forgot.

Agreed this thread is a joke, as is Lil Wayne.

Default Reading is fundamental

Ahh let's try this again, the question wasn't about Lil Wayne, it's "talking slow" when did you start losing interest in hip hop and start listening to other genres?

Its impossible to lose interest if you truly enjoy the genre. Losing interest just means your to lazy to go find new bands.

If he's bored of hip hop then it's because it's filled with no talent fucks like him.

We already have enough terrible rock acts , we don't need anymore.

Well hip-hop wasn't my starting point with music, I came into it when I was already very well-versed in other genres and I've never particularly lost interest in it. So I guess I can't really relate to your question.
