I don't think he could be a good actor, he has the same look on his face all movie lol... He was basically playing a version of himself. But I really liked 8 Mile, AMAZING music playing throughout, and the rap battles at the end are classically awesome

I always find myself going back and listening to his old stuff. It's surprising to hear the difference between Curtain Call days and Relapse/Recovery days. He knows how to pull lyrics together and rap them quickly, but I think he's lost two things:

The reason he starting 'hip hopping' in the first place.
The meaning behind his music.

He just seems to be pulling stuff out of his ass now. Hardly worth listening to.

I don't know about Relapse (haven't listened to it cause what I heard of it sucks) But Recovery seems to have a lot of purpose in it. More so than any of his albums except maybe his first 3.

Also, if he was still rapping about the same stuff as he was in SSLP/MMLP then it would be very old and repetitive by now. I think his new album does a great job at bringing his soul back into his music, but having a fresh perspective and moving forward at the same time.

What a phenomenal comeback. The album before this was just weird and odd. Then he makes this huge comeback and drops Recovery and just blows everyone away. Add in some features like Romans Revenge and that Beamer Benz or Bentley joint... and just wow.

Love the way you lie is a pretty good song, the reverb on Rihanna's voice gives me chills.

I'm not sure what I'm hoping for next out of Eminem, D12 had better release their new album soon, and since Slaughterhouse have signed to Shady records it would be great to see Eminem and Royce Da 5'9" team up again as Bad Meets Evil and put out an album, no need for a re-release of recovery with extra tracks or a new Em solo project, just get the D12 project out. Oh, and detox please?
