He's coming to Scotland in August, ****ing £65 or something a ticket, as much as I loved eminem when I was a kid I am not paying that amount of money for a bit of nostalgia.

Kinda sucks though cos I'd really like to go

Edit: I used to rock out to Lose Yourself fluffy haha, was my favourite song and I'll always have a soft spot for it.

I saw him on the Smokeout tour with Snoop and Cypress Hill and he was the best part of the show. Dude gets a bad rap so to speak, I think hes kinda stuck in a rut but hes definitely a capable rapper.

I'm jealous as ****, I'd honestly love to have had those sort of opportunities. I don't think eminem is crappy, he's just went downhill in the past ten (give or take) years. I'd still love to see him, he's just being a money grabbing bastard asking for 65 quid imo. I could pay less than 10 quid to get into an underground club in Glasgow and have the time of my life. He gets away with it though because he's a big name in general and has been for years.

I'd hate to imagine the prices of a daft punk gig, would probably put me into a depression.

I think hes honestly run out of ideas. You can only reinvent yourself so many times without being a copy of your own self. I don't think anything has really changed with the guy, I just think its all been done, what else could he have to offer. I wouldn't pay 65 cents to see him again just because I've already seen what he has to offer. I'd hate to imagine going to a Daft Punk gig.

Well yeah, probably. He's wrote about pretty much everything he knows and now his life has taken him a million miles from where he was, it's just a pity that place is boring and uninspiring for him. It would cost you around $100 to go to this gig, converted it just for you.

Hey!! Are you this cheeky all the time? Haha

What did you like from Encore? I think he fell off badly after the first D12 album. I used to be the biggest Eminem fanboy when I was a kid as well. When The Eminem Show came out I stopped bothering. Haven't gone out of my way to listen to any of his stuff since then and I have never listened to Encore, Relapse or Recovery.

Slim Shady LP > everything else.

He is/was an elite rapper at his peak. Annoys me that he never got some serious producers like Premo or RZA to make an album for him. Then we really would have got a classic from him. I don't think his first two proper albums have aged well either, production sounds v. dated now.

I like that too. It's his last great song imo.

"Never Enough" was a good tune. How is the first D12 album btw? I've only heard a few tracks from it.

You should check out both Devil's Night and D12 World. I tended to listen to D12 World more because they didn't take themselves as serious as they did with Devil's Night but those few tracks that you've probably heard are the best ones off of the album.
