The rapping is good, the beat doesn't do anything for me though.

I like it for Eminem period. The beat could definitely be better, but it doesn't distract me much from his rapping.

yeah that's a track where you just ignore the beat and listen to the pure lyricism going on.

Anyone that listens to that track definitely doesn't care about the beat and just wants to keep hearing him rap.

I didn't like it. To clubby for lack of better judgement. I haven't liked any of his new stuff. Recovery was crap and Relapse had a few good tracks but didn't make the bar.

I miss his old stuff.

Why do you miss his old stuff? Do you not know where to download it or do you not own those cds?

I think he's implying that he misses the Eminem back then as opposed to now.

Ya I meant I liked his older stuff better and wish he would do more stuff like that. I miss how he used to be I guess.

This happens with a lot of artists I listen to. Yet they have to grow as artists also I guess.

Eminem hasn't actually really grown much but the music has changed and I don't care I think he's trying to make music that can still be popular and who can blame him really?

What Ki said

My point is that if you want his old stuff listen to his old material. Artists always change over time and if you don't agree with their change just stick to their old material.

I do it's just I can't help but listen to their new stuff if I'm a big fan and tend to be disappointed a lot of the time.

Manson is a good example I think he just kept getting worse and worse after Antichrist (GAG being the exception). His last album was horrible imo but I had to atleast listen to it to find out. I love his older stuff so why change a good thing?

So then my friend showed me this the other day.

I love the album. This guys only been around a few years.

I mean it's obviously old school Manson inspired but is it a rip off? I don't think it is. I think he's paying homage to Manson and just trying to make kick ass music like Manson used to.

So yeah they have to expand but the question is why I guess. Why do we need someone like Davey Suicide to make kick ass old school style Manson music? Why doesn't Manson?

MODS : Sorry for getting off topic just wanted to explain why I said what I said.
