I enjoyed the album but I think he should still have stayed retired, but I don't blame him for coming back after the Nets horrible season record this year haaaa

I like his "new" sound.. the past couple of albums hasn't been a failure, just not that enjoyable!

And to comment on the post above. To be honest, all those who end up mainstream is not the king of rhymes. The real spitters are those who do there thing, doesnt start clothing and all other types of brands.

I have respect for Jay Z but I really do not like his work, I want to see him do some collaborations with underground rappers, a move like that will not satisfy the mainstream crowd but Jay Z is rich enough.

Jay-Z exists beyond mainstream and underground.

Its like how the Pixies can sell 4 billion records, do a 50 state tour and still have cred.
