once they die they become G.O.A.T. I don't see what's wrong with that but I guess we will have to agree to disagree.

You're putting them and their music on a pedestal simply because they are dead. What's right about that?

I guess we will have to agree to disagree.

I was being a bit sarcastic with that statement, I don't truly believe they become greatness but some of the artists you listed before. I believe they were pretty great while they were alive also.

Biggie set himself up with Ready to Die to be further immortalized upon his death. He knew he was going to be murdered and had the vision to use his death to compliment his art. That's like the kind of brilliance music historians like to pretend that Mozart had with Requiem.

Occult, you are definitely correct about that. Didn't Pac also feel like he was going to die soon also and had some tracks that talked about it.

I never really got that into Tupac but I would say you could probably argue the whole Machiavelli thing was along those lines.

lol not trying to stereotype rap, but like every rapper has talked about getting killed.
That's a good point. Well taken. But if you name the rapper and his death I feel like I will be able to explain to you why what Biggie did was more profound.
