I guess I'm the first big Sage fan to post in this thread. To get into Sage you have to really listen to the lyrics

One of my favorite Sage songs. I love the emotion.

Make sure you listen to at least 2:45 if you don't like the song after that point you're not missing much else

Just remember to listen to the lyrics.

For Aesop Rock I have to disagree and say start with Float or Labor Days and then move on to whatever.

Since I suggest Float for the first album I guess I should post a song of it.

The verse where every word goes lsd...lsd...lsd (words start with the letters) is rediculous and it actually took me a few listens to figure out that's what was going on.

Like with Sage you have to listen to the lyrics. I find that even ones that seem not to make sense on the first listen start making sense after more listens.

Let's just skip all the back and forth and keep it simple. I'm right, you're wrong. Nothing has changed.

I didn't know disagreeing was trolling, dumbass.

I don't care that it's "you," I didn't even notice until you brought it out into the open that you were YOU.

If people never compared their sides, then advancement would be impossible. Comparisons have to be made, but you're far too egotistical for that.

Correct.

Now back on topic...

Is anyone a fan of canibus? I tried getting into him once but just didn't seem to enjoy him. Hopefully he's improved? everyone always tells me how talented he is as a lyricist.

He is a talented lyricist, but I agree his voice just ticks me off and his flow and beats bore me. i prefer to read his lyrics over actually listening to it.

it's like reading a clockwork orange :P :P :P
