I have been really digging this. The video is amazing, love the 8-bit sounds and the tempo shifts. If anyone has this album please let me know - I cannot for the life of me find it anywhere!

Check Aesop Rock, KRS-One, and if you want some more modern tracks I'm diggin' Atmosphere, Lupe, and Tech N9ne lately.

As for as the whole East vs. West, as far as I know, it was more a 90's thing and the beefs between rappers aren't as serious any longer, at least not as far as geographically.

KRS-ONE is a Hip-Hop pioneer and part of Boogie Down Productions, their album Criminal Minded is a classic.

If you like Wu-Tang, check out Only Built for Cuban Links by Raekwon the Chef.

I second that notion. Definitely get that album. Two is pretty good as well.. Just go thru the Wu and get everything they have all done.

Look up "The Grouch". Any rapper on rhymesayers, particularly Brother Ali or Atmosphere. Needless to say Wu-Tang Clan are nothing to **** with.

So, there's several songs that are actually good.

"Ballad of the Black Gold" by Reflection Eternal.
"She Was" by Bei Maejor.
"Shutterbugg" by Big Boi.
"Life's A Bitch" by Wale ft Talib Kweli & Joell Ortiz.
"Higher" by J Cole.
"The Ode To New York" by The Illz (he's sick).
"Put It Down" by Bun B ft Drake.
"The Freestyle" by Wale. (Most underrated rapper ATM)
"We Run NY" by French Montana ft Fat Joe.
"I'm Gone" by Fat Joe (premo beat... I know, most dont like Joe but this song is great).

Everyone, tell me what you think of each.
